  • Payment Information: Processed by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers
  • User Content: Stories and prompts you create

  • Usage Data: Features used, credits consumed, generation history
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, pages viewed

3. How We Use Your Information ​

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Process payments and manage your account
  • Send you emails about your own account and the Service — these are part of providing the Service and are not optional
  • Send you occasional promotional emails about ProseForge, only if you have chosen to receive them

  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • Cloud Providers: For hosting (DigitalOcean)

  • Your generated stories and images are private by default
  • We do not access your content except for technical support (with permission) or legal requirements
  • We do not use your content to train AI models

We use essential cookies for:

  • Authentication (keeping you logged in)
  • Session management

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Your Rights ​

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and data
  • Export your content (copy/download)
  • Choose whether to receive promotional email, and change that choice at any time in your profile settings

9. Children's Privacy ​

ProseForge is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us immediately.

10. International Users ​

ProseForge is operated from Canada. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to Canada.

11. Data Retention ​

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active
  • After deletion: Data removed within 30 days
  • Backups: May retain data in backups for up to 90 days

12. Changes to This Policy ​

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email.
