Use this address to report anything you have seen on ProseForge that you believe breaks our Terms of Service — harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content involving minors, spam, or infringement of your copyright.
You do not need a ProseForge account to report something. If you are reporting on behalf of someone else, or you have left the service, email us directly.
Please include, if you can:
- A link to the story, author page, or room where you saw it
- What you saw, in your own words
- Your email address, so we can tell you what happened
We read every report. We aim to respond within two business days, and sooner where someone's safety is involved. Reports about a specific person's safety are prioritised over everything else in the queue.
Reporting from inside the app
If you have an account, reporting in the app is faster and gives us more to work with, because it tells us exactly which item you mean:

| A message in a room | Hover the message → ⚑ |
You can also block an author or a story from the same ⋮ menu. Blocking hides that person's stories and their room messages from you, and stops them seeing yours.
What we do about it
When a report reaches us we can remove the reported message, hide or unpublish a story, or suspend an account, depending on what we find. We will tell you the outcome at the address you gave us.
If we get it wrong, reply to that email and a person will look again.
